Volunteering With Us

Ipswich Historical Society Incorporated is a not-for-profit organisation run on an entirely voluntary basis by members and volunteers who are interested in working with people, artefacts and historical documentation. New members and volunteers are often friends and acquaintances of members, or community members who are looking for a new interest.

There are many tasks that need to be undertaken at Cooneana Heritage Centre, including mowing, gardening, watering, painting, conservation of machines, accessioning artefacts, writing policies and procedures, cleaning, displays, research, archiving, cataloguing, repairing books and so on. Think of a task and it will be on our list!
